Tim Richmond
For the past eight years, Tim Richmond has been an instrument
repair technician for the Kalamazoo Public Schools. Before that time, he went to Red Wing
Area Vocational Technical Institute which is now called Minnesota State College -
Southeast Technical. He graduated from there in 1983 with an Occupational Proficiency
degree. After College, he started a music store in Flint, which is still open, and worked
there for 5 years. In 1988. he took a position as the repair manager at the Kalamazoo
branch of Marshall Music, and left that position to work for Kalamazoo Public Schools. In
his spare time he started Tim Richmond’s Band Instrument Repair Service in
Schoolcraft, Michigan, a business which he still operates today! Tim can be reached
