Middle School Band News

Solo & Ensemble applications are due Friday, January 27, 2012 with payment to band director, P. Stoll or B. Rosier
DATE OF EVENT: April 4, 2012 at the Schoolcraft High School
FEES: $10.00 for a solo
$5.00 each for an ensemble
Any participant can perform for up to 3 events.

Congratulations goes to Nathaniel Chiu, a Vicksburg Middle School trombone player, who was recently selected for the All-State Band by the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association. Approximately 2,000 students from across the state auditioned for 375 spots in the All-State Ensembles. On January 21, members of the All-State ensembles will perform at the Amway Grand Hotel in Grand Rapids as part of the Michigan Music Conference. These concerts are open to the public.

Vicksburg Community Schools Foundation for awarding the Vicksburg Middle School Band a grant of $21,000. These funds will be used to purchase new instruments!
